I have a situation where I would like to stream a camera input instead of the vMix output. Possible?

We're using vMix as a dedicated replay machine with a TriCaster 850. TriCaster can only stream to one destination, and I'd like to use vMix to stream to a couple of others. I have the TC program out going to the vMix SDI input 4, with three cameras into 1-3. While using replay, the TC program out is always available on SDI input four. I'd like to stream input four, because the regular output of vMix is just the replay video going back to the TriCaster.

Is it possible to select a stream source other than vMix output?

Hi Mike

if you have 4k or pro version, then you can. I see 2 options but I can't test #2 right now so it's up to you

Set External2 with input4 and use an external encoder like FFMPEG, FMLE or OBS

#2
Set Fullscren/Streamin/REcording with Input4 and use External2 for replays (This is what I can't check right now but I think it's doable someway or another, maybe sending replays to preview with external2 on preview)

These are directions to experiment with, sorry I'm in a train, can't check on my own
