Hello vMix people,

System:
Windows 10 - fresh install
nVidia 750 ti
intel i5 2500k
16 GB ram
Magewell XI100DUSB HDMI USB 3.0 Capture Dongle
Elgato HD60 pro

Issue:
Taking inputs from two video cameras. One to the magewell and one to the elgato. I get good input from both cameras, but soon my computer monitor starts flashing black.
I think it might be the Elgato. I record with just one input from the magewell for 2 hours. As soon as I add the second input it starts to flash. I tried different HDMI cords with no success.

Any ideas what could be causing it?

Thanks for the help,
Ben

P.S. I'm brand new to vMix.

More details:

Here is information on my MB: https://www.newegg.com/P...=ASRock%20P67%20EXTREME4

I installed the latest drivers for the Elgato. No problems when using their streaming software.

I've seen some issues reported on here where the individual input windows are flashing black, that is not what is happening to me. The entire computer monitor is flashing.

Also, the CPU is running very low % wise.

Thanks,
Ben

I had a similar problem on a client's PC. Turns out it was a bad monitor. Symptom only showed up under video load. Replaced the monitor and never happened again.

Do you have spare monitor you can try. Maybe borrow one?

Tom! You're a genius. I changed monitors and it worked. Also the connection to the monitor is different. The second monitor is using DVI instead of the first monitor using HDMI. Not sure if that made a difference or not.

Thanks a million!
Ben
