My big question is the following: is there any possibilities to share my guest screen and receiving in Vmix side? The best if my guest can switch between the webcam and desktop sharing (like between the frontcamera and backside camera). Is there any solution for this? With plugin, or something else? Thank you!

And conncect Vmix to Vmix. Manycam is alternative, but its not that cheaper solution, than basic HD Vmix. And wit Vmix your guest have 60 day free trial.

I forgot one thing: we must present this solution also for OSX, because of this VMIX install on the guest computers is not a solution... I think the best solution if Martin implement the screen sharing feature. :) Ok, I don't know, how hard is it...

You can go through it adding their webcam stream as a vmix call. They could use SparkoCam to have a virtual webcam. That lets them desktop share with their webcam in a window, but it takes effort on their part. It would be ideal if vMix Call supported desktop share and webcam, but that's a tall order. Many webrtc services don't support seeing both streams at the same time.

I have often used this method on a second laptop with Skype installed - the remote guest presenter can now share both their own video talking head along with their slides, which is brought into the webcast using the vMix Desktop Capture program which is installed on the second laptop, which is also being used by the local presenters during a conference or workshop.

That's really cool, right? With Shot1 in the Output window and Shot2 in the Preview window, all I do is click the Merge button in the Transition bar between the two windows. Or, better than that, set up a series of Shortcuts that Merges to Shot2 regardless of whether Shot2 is in Preview or not. The shortcut would 1. Load Shot2 into Preview 2. Activate the Merge function Yes, one short cut can do two (or more) jobs nearly instantaneously. - Tom

It allows to share and use a single webcam with multiple applications at the same time New features also include video, image and desktop sharing. There's even a PiP mode! Free. But displays ads for adult webcam services! (in the application UI, not the video content!) http://splitcamera.com/ Guillaume
