Hello,

When the vMix caller is not in the vMix "out screen" (record or stream screen) they have no audio. The only time you can hear their audio is when the program/show viewer can see the vMix caller.

You should be able to set things up for the caller Input audio to be "always ON" within the vMix Audio Mixer and/or with Triggers and/or Shortcuts.
(It's pretty much the same as any other Input)
