I've been successfully using desktop capture on windows with no problems... I've just tried using it on a macbook and had problems. First of all it didn't seem to realise there were two monitors available, but I got round that one.

However the real issue was the desktop capture server would crash, and pretty much take down the whole Mac. Couldn't do anything but force power off after that. No pattern to it.

Mac was a late plastic unibody macbook running 10.6.8

I couldn't get any useful diagnostic info from the crash report because the UI would lock up.

Any thoughts?

There might be an issue with Snow Leopard, vMix Desktop Capture has only been tested on Lion or higher. We recommend upgrading the version of OSX running on the macbook.
