Our staff likes the "L" button on the shuttle pro, but we just received several Behringer CMD-PL1's which are very nice so far. We are also interested in the new JL Cooper's.
But when I went to try to program the feature of "L" key, it is not available, seems that it only on the Shuttle Pro. So I started to think about this.

The "L" key is a modifier that changes the wheel from frames to seconds. (3Play has a similar feature) the current API structure would be-

I imagine it involves putting together a new bunch of shortcuts, to trigger on off different frame jump sizes.

This leads me to what I have wanted before in the API, some way to store a variable.

Example:
if the "jump frame" API could read a variable for number of frames. i.e. (JogSpeed). ?
I could have a Button that "loaded a variable" so I could have various speeds defined by variable called (JogSpeed).

This would be a powerful method of all kinds of things, not just JogSpeed, the more that I think about it ????
Thoughts?
