I'm keen to find out who is using Tally lights and are there any real world videos online of them in use at a live event.
I'm keen for my cameramen to not only hear the directors calls but to also see the little red light appear above and at the top of their monitor.
We run 7inch monitors.
I have seen videos on YouTube on how to make them up oneself but no real life examples.
Thanks

Hi
I usually use Tally lights over Wifi to my cameramen smartphones. That's the easiest and cheapest way to use them as it only requires a cheap magical arm and an adaptor to handle the device on the tripod.
If the talents also need Tally lights I do the same with extra smartphones but planning to give it a try with newest Raspberri Pi (with integrated wifi) and small Raspberry monitors.
Sorry no photos

Thanks for that but ideally I would just prefer a red LED lights that goes red when on and blank when not.
Do you know of that sort of solution.
Some of the cameramen I will be using come from a broadcast background and so it would be good to mimic a close to broadcast setting.
We do sport events and there is a lot of panning so a small LED lights sitting just above the 7inch screen would be perfect.

Do you know of that sort of solution. vMix supports Arduino, which can be connected and work as a tally controller. Read more at http://www.vmix.com/help18/TallyLights.htmlAnd also generally, when you have questions regarding feature support, look through (search) the vMix website and vMix help ( http://www.vmix.com/help18/) for info. If you can't find anything about your topic, then post at the forums :-)
