Please could we have an option to be prompted on exit to save the preset?

It can be a little frustrating when you forget and have to redo what you just did...

Hi Alex

when it happens you can simply click "Last". It will reload everything just like it was when you closed it. Then you can save...

Hope this helps
Guillaume

I was thinking about the same thing a few days ago. vMix already asks if it's okay to close. It's not too much trouble for me to say "Yes" to that. And how many time have I changed an existing preset, not saved it, exited vMix, then restarted vMix later and opened the old preset without my changes. Too late to use "last" in that scenario.

+1 !!

Or prompt saying something like:

"Save and quit", "Quit without saving", "Cancel" (to return to program without any action)

Yes this type of prompt is a standard for many programs and should be added to vMix. This sort of prompt even halts accidental shutdowns.

Please, in near future release, add SAVE ON EXIT option, and have it automatically save to the latest preset file you were working in, not as a SAVE AS.

I know about LAST, and it is great, but might not remember that in the heat of the moment.

Also, not sure if someone else uses vMix before I do next would it ruin my LAST file with the preset they are working on (if that makes sense).

Thanks,
Skippy

I was also surprised that vMix appears to only have a SaveAs function. I continuous worry about overwriting the wrong preset file.

A "Save" and separate "SaveAs" function would be a simple and life saving feature.
