Hello,

I noticed that when I record a video on vMix and burn it to DVD, it either freezes on burning to DVD after the recording or it burns to DVD but it won't load the video on a DVD Player or Computer. I tried DVD Styler and Free Studio, but neither works. I record each video in MP4 to upload to YouTube.

Can someone tell me what's wrong? I've exhausted all my options.

Typically DVD's use mpeg or mpg format. Maybe try re-encoding your videos to mpeg format

Do you know of any free software that I can convert the video before burning?

Not free, but this software works VERY well with all formats.

We use it all the time.

Hello,

I tried to convert the file from MP4 to Mpeg via Any Video Converter and burned the DVD via DVDStyler and the video converted and burned successfully, burned successfully but the video won't play on computer or TV.

For a DVD to play in a DVD Player, the video files must be authored with a DVD authoring software. I don't know of any free software that can do this, but I use Sony DVD Architect. I believe there is a less expensive consumer version. I don't know the name of it at the moment.

I googled DVD Authoring Software free and it came back with DVDStyler which was what I was doing.
