I need to be able to update the scoreboard quickly with rugby scores. Unfortunately these don't go up in ones, so using a shortcut key with settext with a += isn't going to work.
e.g. If I wanted to add 7 points for the home team, I could press the short cut key (set to +=1) 7 times, but I'd probably go mad. If I pressed it too many times, I'd have to have another shortcut key to reduce it by 1. Then I'd have to have another two shortcut keys for the away team...
or Could have a key to add 5, another to add 3, and another to add 2, duplicated for home and away....(with a minus 1 key times 2 to correct errors).
What I would really like:
Press a shortcut key (X), enter the new score for the home team. (I'll do the math!)
Press a shortcut key (Y), enter the new score for the away team.
Rugby is probably one of the few sports where the score does not go up in ones!
Thanks for reading this.

shortcut key - settext +=7
and settext -=2
my sport adds 5 (faults) ;-) plus time over set time (similar to horsejumping)

Yup, could do, and another key for a three point penalty. Duplicate for home and away.
A = add 3 points for home B = add 3 points for away C = add 5 points for home D = add 5 points for away E = add 7 points for home F = add 7 points for away G = subtract 1 for home H = subtract 1 for away
I won't be able to cope!

Would be nice to have like key A for home and Shift-Key A for away.
Personally I would use a API client with convenient layout and or shortcuts

OK, had a bit longer to play around with the software, and I've just about sorted this.
Open the title editor window, update the home/away title, and then don't close the window, but reduce its size and put it out of the way in the corner, with the home score showing.
Game starts, and it's then fairly straightforward to just update the scores - don't need to hit enter or close the title editor window - soon as you type a new score in, the scoreboard updates.
Simples!
