Hello,
I've noticed that Mark In and Mark Out isn't always accurate and precise through slide control. If that can't be fixed maybe a custom Mark In and Mark Out numeric field in the GEeneral tab could help.
Thanks in advance

+1 Hi stergi, It might be that depending on the key frame interval in your video, and how vMix handles interframes, that one can only define Mark In and Out on key frames. The interval between key frames may vary, for example 1 second is very common. Consequently one can only mark in/out times on key frames. You can try and edit the preset file (.vmix) with for example Notepad++, search for the name of your videofile, to find the line that begins with Input Type="0" and change the values for RangeStart="nnnnn" and RangeStop="nnnnn", where nnnn should be in milliseconds. If that still is not accurate for you, then it's a key frame issue.

Instant Replay uses I-frame only recording for replay (only key frames). The Mark In and Mark Out are frame accurate when using the slider at least in my tests.
Can you provide a step by step of what you have tried that has resulted in it being inaccurate?

If vmix would just use frames for everything except time and ms the entire program would benefit
