Does anyone have a one man band setup with the ability to read comments on the fly for FB Live and YT Live? Can vMix social be used to monitor these comments?
It would be cool if I could use vMix Social as I could then easily add the comments into the live show.
Thanks everyone for your help.

You can do this when streaming with restream.io. They have this feature built in.

Thank you I will check that out. I was hoping to be able to do it inside vMix Social somehow. That way I could stay inside the same application.
Do you know if I can feed that data back from the restream.io to show on the screen being streamed or do they handle that? I will check it out and report back.

I am using vMix social for FB comments in real time
One problem i notices with vMix and Facebook is that after several comments (5) in a row from one person vMix Social simply don’t want to pull next one from that same person – Problem dont occur every time because sometimes it do that normally without that limitation
One limitation (i suppose normal one) is that pooling (or integration) of new comments into vMix Social is always with some delay - approximately 10 sec – vMix social do pooling in regular times and sometimes it pools comments in a second from publishing it and sometimes after 10-15 seconds
It can be done very easily with one person which covers all duties regarding broadcasting (streaming) – Sometimes is can be problem especially if you must listen what somebody say in video to type questions or comment on FB and in mean time read and allow comments from other people in same time – Some limitations definitively exists and they are mainly connected to ourselves and our ability to be concentrated and do all those simultaneous
PS you can use first stream to do second one publishing same comments on it in specific time if you like it – vMix Social can be considered like a part of vMix and it will not make you problems regarding working with it – Turn it on, set it up and ready and simply check comments in browser and send them to production under some title – You must experiment with how you want your comments to show up on stream (broadcast) and how many characters will be shown – You can edit title for those comments extensively to suit your needs and everything with that is trying and trying and making lot of exercises to see is it good or no
Salute
