can i capture video from dj software output for live streaming in vmix? video mix with virtual dj or serato dj
is this possible and how's the setup? can this be done with one system and what hw needed for this?

are you talking the video side of virtual dj? or like if you wanted to record what you are doing with virtual dj? if it is just capturing the video you could do it through a NDI source input from your laptop, but you dont want to run your v. dj and vmix on the same computer. Second you would have to setup a audio out on virtual dj that is seperate from your ADJ ASIO's that way you could capture the audio as well. Maybe you could add another output on the external mixer and change it to master - WASAPI - channel 1 & 2?

This might help... http://forums.vmix.com/d....aspx?g=posts&t=8547The image is a system configuration, using OtsAV, but it would work the same with VDJ or Sarato. I use a USB3HDCAP device to capture the video output from one system to mix with vMix in a second system.

I know this is a little late to the party, but we've been using it for years with MixEmergency and Serato. It also support NDI Alpha channels so you can do some cool stuff. Video Example
