Hi,

I installed vMix 5.8 on my pc. With this version I ran into a problem when selecting a high resolution for the decklink renderer (see other topic). So I installed vMix 5.7 in which that problem doesn't occur.

Later on, I installed vMix 5.8 again, and after starting the program, I got an error saying: 'Root element is missing'.

Does anyone know why this error occurs and how to solve it?

When you receive the error, click "Send Error Report" so we can see the full error message.
Most likely the configuration is corrupt and you should install vMix again to a different folder.
