I'm currently in a 24/7 live stream event until 30th of december and am receiving both audio and video through a single SDI input.
The received audio should be used permanently so I have the 'Audio' button lit green, but the video is used rarely.

When switching to the video from SDI nothing strange happens, but as soon as I switch from the SDI video to another video channel vMix switches off the Audio button and enables the Audio button on the new video stream, which doesn't have an audio channel.

Can i somehow mark the audio channel of SDI video input as 'permanent' or is there some other setting I can use to disable automatic audio switching?
I did find the setting 'Automatically Mix Audio', but it's not really clear to me what this does and it requires a restart which isn't possible at this time. (Why does it require a restart anyway?)

Hope to hear it from someone :) Thanks!

The option in the settings is only for the default behaviour for new inputs.
To manually change the option find the button with the green and orange arrows in the audio mixer for the corresponding input.

Aaah yes, that seems to be it! Thanks a lot!
All of the inputs had it enabled. I'm using the video now, so in a few minutes I'll know if it works :P

Can't thank you enough for your quick answer.
