I know we can easily change it in 1 second, but I think vMix needs to start matching the industry standards of;
Green = Preview Red = Program
For some professionals it's a bit off putting when they first see non-standard colors. It will slightly improve the first impressions of vMix to professionals.
Not only that, it matches tally lights, surfaces and the future bird-dog which will use industry standard colors.

@ mashynewie2
You make an interesting point and in that respect: + 1 But it is one of the few customizable features of vMix that gives you some sense of "personalization", which is a very powerful concept in a competitor's product which many of us had grown very attached to, but that's another conversation. I pretty much adjusted my colours from day one, as I am sure many other industry "insiders" have, but I think the original thinking was along the intuitive line of reasoning of green for GO and yellow for GET SET, which likely makes more sense to those outside the industry who are to a large extent the original targeted market.

Quote:green for GO and yellow for GET SET Just like drag racing :) As Ice said it's customizable, everyone can be happy. Those who want to work in the industry should know Green=Preview, Red=Program. But if that's not the person's goal, then use the colors that work for them. No matter how good vMix is, it will not impress some professionals. They may be wedded to certain hardware based systems, so it doesn't matter what vMix is capable of.

+1
Obviously I also made the changes right after install #1 long ago, this color setting choice has always intrigued me. Why not conforming to the standard, especially when the record, external and stream buttons turn red when activated. When program is red it makes logical sense...
But yeah it is not a real issue...

Can someone explain how to change the web interface tally colors? I can't seem to find a place to do this in settings. Thanks.
I'm slow. Forgive me. :)
Go to Settings-->Display-->(Preview Color:) & (Output Color:)
