Currently using Wirecast but I am very interested in Vmix. The way I use Wirecast involves streaming and recording H.264 video with 2 different resolutions and bitrates. Although I can see how to send 2 different streams in Vmix, it looks like I can only record 1 file at a time. With Wirecast I can record an HD file and an SD file at the same time. Can anyone think of a a way to do this with Vmix?

MultiCorder is available in the 4K and Pro versions of vMix

With the other versions you can send External Output to another program where you could record an SD copy.

There are other vMix users that I'm sure know other ways of doing what you currently do with Wirecast, and can give you more ways on how to accomplish it with vMix.

I used to use Wirecast Pro, then I bought vMix, starting with vMix Basic HD. I haven't used Wirecast for anything but helping someone with a problem over a year ago.

Thanks for the response. It appears to me that multicorder records only inputs but not the output of Vmix.
