I want to share this game:

Suggestions are welcome!

The setup:

Nothing else...

Hi
You did a nice job. I often do basketball with 2 HD cameras (wide and zoom angle). Also sd camera for timer to enter clock from gym to graphics.
You can see example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hhxNs0KNIY

Only one suggestion, you scoreboard is too big. It's large, to large and it takes a lot of screen. My suggestion is to shrink it. Everything else looks fine.

Are you using the same setup like last showcase of yours? (ATEM, vMix etc?)

best regards
Marko

Thanks for your words!

Marko: about scoreboard, agree. I do not like, but the organizer of tournament provides all broadcast providers the scoreboard graphs as the 4G Movistar logo.
Each club has to stream all local games with that scoreboard and the Movistar logo. You can check in the same link other games of the same user (organizer) made by the other clubs.
You can see here another game with a better scoreboard:
(in that case 2 cameras two weeks ago).

Regards!

I understand but I would just shrink it in the corner and make it smaller :)
I also work for local club basketball 1st division in our country. Every club needs to do live stream home games on youtube channel of basketball federation. We all got scoreboard graphics and its quite ok. Looks nice:

I draw every other (intro, timeout, qurters end...), and get the main scoreboard from basketball federation.

One question: Do you charge for your job of livestream? End how much roughly do you get if its not secret?

best regards

I've seen that type of graphics you use for titles and intro on another stream before. Is it some software or template? If so, where can I get this?

Thanks for all your messages!

Marko: About your question, i actually do charge my service. Fyi, the price is:
-Camera (market cost, in Argentina arround U$S 50)
-Director (same price than camera)
-Rent of hardware (arround $ 40)
-Others (taxi, and other things) U$S 10

When i have to do a bigger work, i use to put more money on rent. I.E., U$S 10 for each camera, $ 30 for 4G connection, etc.
Hope it helps.

Digitalson: Thanks! We use this camera: http://www.sony.es/pro/p...-mc1500p/specifications/

Jedda: You can find this graphs in videohive.net.

See u!

@ guztavo

A seemingly reasonable pricing structure that one would think should be attractive and affordable by most serious sports organizations.
(even though, in my estimation, it is way undervalued and likely makes it difficult to earn a living from or build a business around at those rates)
Unfortunately, in this country (Canada), I find it difficult to find organizations willing to pay half of that rate, let alone anything at all...
But such is the life with the ever evolving accessibility of the "cutting edge" technology behind "Live Streaming".

@Ice: Actually, i think that the cost it's excesive low, and agree, it's undervalued and it's difficult to make a sustentable business. That's why this is a secondary work for me. A real option is do the same than TV: sell advertisment. But i think and understand that it is not your interest (at least not mine).
I think you can provide a professional service, and make a difference in the result (and earn money then). I think in the next years live streaming of sports will be increasing. Here in Argentina, the channel TyC Sports is the bigger sports content producer and owner of the right of football league (ESPN and Fox Sports here dont have rights to broadcast that games). Since a time ago, they broadcast by cable TV one game, but others playing at same time you can see on TyC Sports channel on YouTube (and in the channel plataform with your tv provider password). So, i think streaming will grow up, and TV stations will need providers like you and me. But by now, we have to do this for little money.

@ gustavo

I agree wholeheartedly, it's coming (already here to a certain extent) and there is a demand for it (although limited), but finding the "sweet spot" ratio of production value to marketable ad spots that will make such broadcasts/webcasts viable from a business perspective is what needs to fall into place before anyone will be happy.
