Is it possible to have a Activator that when a overlay channel is active it allows a button to be highlighted no matter the content. OverlayChannel.1.On, OverlayChannel.1.Off
As a example, i have 8 list inputs that all play to overlay channel 1 (for various graphics at certain times in a event). Most of those inputs can have up to 20 different files or setups.
The reason i use them all on one channel is that i have a panic button thats used to wipe all active overlays if needed. (if a event is over faster, to clear name banners or overlays)

trying to map 1 button to change colour for when each and every file is in use would be very time consuming. (i think for one event it would be 100 differnt activators for just 1 button to change colour)

i did look at active and preview but that didnt do the job i needed since i dont preview them i just use the midi controller to activate it.

YES!!! Please add this.I am loving the activators but having the ability to see when each overlay is active or in preview would be huge.
My wife bakes amazing cookies and I'm sure they could make it all the way to Australia...no pressure.

 @ corporatejames

I think what LAJDigital is requesting is for a single "Button" on the control surface to be mapped to an Overlay channel and light up whenever active or ON, regardless of the "Input" used for the Overlay, more like a Master Indicator light that says "this Overlay channel is ON Air"...
As it stands, I believe you would need a different button for each individual Input.
The quazi 'workaround' is to use "Preview" as the "Activator" source Input for an "Overlay", but this is not a practical or useful solution as the indicator light would go off as soon as the Input is no longer in "Preview" but it would still be Active as an Overlay.
I think it is a valid request to have an "Indicator Light" for quick reference on a control surface for any Feature Function vMix offers.
