Hello,

I just upgraded to VMix 18.0.0.55 and was excited to give some of the new features a try. But when I try to load any preset from VMix 17 the vmix64.exe process stops responding. The app locks up to the point that the drop down under Open doesn't go away, and "Loading Preset" displays for a few seconds then the main window goes black. The whole time, the drop down for Open presets is still visible.

I've got a lot of time invested in my presets and would just cry if I cannot open them on this system.

In testing, I've tried:
restart
Uninstalling/restarting/reinstall/restart
saving a VMix 18 preset, closing, and opening selecting the V 18 preset - works fine
monitoring the processes shows the vMix64.exe process goes to Not responding immediately after selecting a preset
Attempting a different preset
Double-clicking a preset directly

I am attempting to load onto a different system and see if it is local to my system.

UPDATE

Also reverted back to 17.0.0.108, all presets open fine, including the preset saved in v18.

More testing

Can you drop us an email and also send us a copy of the preset file? info@vmix.com.au
We might need to organise a time to TeamViewer into your system and see what is happening first hand.

UPDATE

In the process of rebuilding my preset, I've been saving and opening every step of the way.

The preset I saved after adding my NDI cameras (iphones with NDI app from NewTek) V18 took a VERY long time to open. It was about 5 minutes.

I'm going to attempt to open my original and see if patience pays off, however, I'm sure you'll agree that 5 minutes to open is on the unacceptable side.

But I have faith that you'll figure out where I went wrong, or where something went wrong.
