Hi, I thought I read somewhere that the Basic (free) version of vMix is limited to non-commercial use, but I can't find where it says that anymore. Are there usage restrictions on vMix Basic?
Thanks! Jonathan

Hi Martin, Can you provide info on any usage restrictions for vMix Basic? Or are there none?
Thanks! Jonathan

Hi Melody, I don't see any restrictions mentioned on that page, so I guess there are none? For some reason I thought I had read something about non-commercial use only for the free version a while ago, but maybe I'm mistaken.
Thanks! Jonathan

Hi Jonhall,
The only restriction on the FREE version are:
1. Nos of inputs, 2. Nos of Capture 3. Maximum Resolution 4. Overlay Channels 5. Video List and MultiCorder
I hope this helps.
regards, Rottimmy

Hi Jonathan,
You are correct that previously the Basic edition was restricted to non-commercial use only. That restriction has been removed. All the other limits (inputs, resolution etc) still apply.
Regards,

Thanks Martin, that's what I thought. So far I've only been using vMix for non-commercial use but it's good to know that the restriction has been removed. I hope to be able to upgrade vMix sometime anyway to be able to use the additional features of the paid versions.
