Thanks Guillaume It will drop (hold previous) frames if the network cannot deliver in time. Kane Peterson NewTek

I tried the Newtek NDI Cam app on my Pixel last week. It worked pretty well.
I was just in my home office, within 5m of a Ubiquiti AC Pro WiFi AP. I forced the Pixel to the 5 GHz band to avoid channel congestion issues.
The Pixel did get pretty warm after just 10 minutes. I wonder about battery life.

I used this a couple of times for audience fills at conferences - does fairly well. Just make sure you WiFi unit is strong enough to pick up where you are. Got shots I never would have any other way - turned my Android phone into another camera for $20.

@DWAM is there a way to send rtsp or rtmp from Wowza Gocoder straight to vMix locally without touching the wowza servers? Or does it have to hit the server before vmix will recognize it?

Quote: is there a way to send rtsp or rtmp from Wowza Gocoder straight to vMix locally without touching the wowza servers? Or does it have to hit the server before vmix will recognize it? GoCoder is an app which works exclusively with Wowza (it used to be open years ago but they restricted it) However there are several apps for Android and iOS that use several streaming protocols (rtmp, rtsp, webrtc, etc...) and can send a feed directly to vMix. I have already listed some of them (the ones I know and use) in other threads in this forum. You will find them with the search option. Guillaume

I have two Android Pixel 2's with Newtek NDI app on both. Either one by their self will show up in vMix. When I try to add either one as the second Pixel 2 it will not show up in vMix. I need to record using two Pixel 2's for an event. Any help appreciated. Steve Brown

What are the specifics of your Wi-Fi? I wonder if two full NDI stream over WiFi isn't been a little optimistic?

I have used these Pixel 2's before on a different Gigabit router into the same PC. The PC is hard wired to an AT&T Uverse 5268AC router. I would love to know the resolution and bit rate but I find no options to set either in the Newtek NDI App. The Pixels and connected to the 5 GHz WiFi.
