You need to install 18 over version 17. make sure it is in the same folder as the original install. When you want to go back to 17 just reinstall over the top of 18 and everything should be back. Ive never done this but Martin mentioned this process on the LiveStream.

I have a quick question to the data sources.
Want to save statistics for a sportsgame in one textfile. So i need to seperate the data in columns in vmix. But how to write it in the textfile that vmix knows thats a new data columns has to be created? Maybe Tab, Comma oder semicolon is a good solution.
Thank you !

I am trying out the activators on Behringer CMD series. I believe the LED options are Default (Orange), Blinking Blue, and Solid Blue. The activators only provide 'OFF' (Default Orange) and 'Blinking Blue' options. Am I missing something?

Using CSV format, you create a new column with each comma on the same line.

Ash wrote:Instant Replay Right Click to Add Clip to Play By ID List
Possible to have a right click on a replay event and the pop up menu has an add to "Replay Stack" to quickly add to the Play By ID list? Also a play stack button or in the pop button.
And Left click drag to move to another event, right click to copy to another event.
I would love to see that to be included as well and also the option to name the event list and maybe not have alread 8 event lists ready, but rather the option (a "+" button) to add another one. Just for to have a better overall overview. Drag&drop events from one event list to another would come in very handy and how about adding videos from another list to the replay timeline? Let's say I have a prerecorded (not with instant replay) video on my machine and want to include it into the playlist with instant replays. A combination of instant replays and list inputs would be awesome. Another thing is that I would like to see how long each playlist is, rather than only seeing it while the event list is already played. Just add another row to the bottom that tells us the total duration and shows how many events are in the list. As I already stated in another post: Name the event...not the camera angle, because the camera angle is already named. And add another row for speed presets. Here's what it could look like:

vMix 18.0.0.50 Uploadedhttp://cdn.vmix.com/download/vmix18preview.exeAdded Periscope streaming provider Added ability to rename datasource tabs Added option to convert rows to columns, so FirstName, LastName with three rows becomes FirstName1,LastName1,FirstName2,LastName2 and so on Google Sheets now requires a Google API Key, to create a key see the vMix 18 Help for instructions Fixed replay doubling colour correction when playing out duplicate transition frames Fixed configure sources not working for inputs located after replay in input list when opening preset Fixed datasource handling of unicode characters

Bug? vMix 18.0.0.50 uses approximately 40% more network bandwidth on my Production PC than 17.0.0.112 does. Top photo is 17, bottom photo is 18. Used the same profile in both. - Tom (My production PC uses an old 100Mbps motherboard.) sinc747 attached the following image(s): Ethernet 17-112.PNG (28kb) downloaded 1 time(s). (My production PC uses an old 100Mbps motherboard.) My first thought is that the NDI version in vMix is updated, which perhaps uses more bandwidth to ensure higher quality video streams, or perhaps vMix v18 has added more NDI streams when ticking off the checkboxes in the Output settings, which is naturally increasing the bandwidth usage.

Hi Tom,
Yes, there have been some tweaks to NDI which are in 18 for testing. One of these is increased bitrate up to around 130Mbps per source depending on content, so all those who were getting away with using an old 100Mbit network card before will need to upgrade to gigabit like they were suppose to!
Good news is gigabit nics are $20 on Amazon!
Regards,
Martin vMix

Hi, Martin
Adding that option to convert row to columns was a stroke of genius!!
The result is this:
This is driven by a Google Slides document that has a macro working in the background that uses the score to automatically sort the data - it works very well.
The process of assigned data field to each text field was a little tedious but well worth it for the result I got.
Thanks again - keep up the great work.

By the way Tom, the screenshot indicates your network card in that PC supports gigabit, so it could just be the cable or the switch that is not connecting at gigabit for some reason.

Yeah I thought that too ;) great work Martin. If you can update the datasources so the names is also displayed in the title editor that would be great but sure its on your big to do list

Hi Martin - vMix18 is great - thank you. Only had a couple of things so far: (vMix 18.0.0.50) 1: List Editor does not expand to use the full window area when un-docked - see picture. 2: Activators: Blinking options for square buttons on AKAI APC Mini missing - I have added these to the XML on my system and it works perfectly: <activatorType displayName="AKAI APCmini Square LED"> <activatorValue displayName="" maximum="1" range="false" displayColor="#00FF00" /> <activatorValue displayName="" maximum="3" range="false" displayColor="#FF0000" /> <activatorValue displayName="" maximum="5" range="false" displayColor="#FFFF00" /> <activatorValue displayName="Green Blink" maximum="2" range="false" displayColor="#00AA00" /> <activatorValue displayName="Red Blink" maximum="4" range="false" displayColor="#AA0000" /> <activatorValue displayName="Yellow Blink" maximum="6" range="false" displayColor="#AAAA00" /> </activatorType> Keep up the excellent work! Giles.
