Hi, we had a great livestreaming of Darts this weekend. Unfortunately some things didn't work as we expected.
We hired 3 Panasonic PTZ Cameras (2x AW-HE 130 + 1 x AW-HE 60S), additionally we had one Sony FX1000(HDMI out only).
The Idea was to bring in
1. the Sony via HDMI Magewell Capture Dongle as 1 Input to vmix, 2. one of the PTZ cams via IP as 1 Input (with several virtual Inputs and presets of the Dartboard) 3. the remaining 2 PTZ cams via SDI In through the Panasonic AW HS 50 switch via Magewell SDI Capture Dongle, those 2 would be controlled by an AW RP 50 Remote Controller as 1 additional Input to vmix
1. and 2. worked well, but we really had problems bringing in 2.
Wanted to add Stream rtsp over udp, put in the ip address of the camera, but nothing... except an error message (timed out) or something like that.
All Cameras, and the Production PC were in the same network.
Tried to access the camera directly via Browser, but no result as well, the cameras were well detected by the pc, as I was able to use a program to check the IP adresses of all the cameras connected to the ethernet switch. But we didn't manage to bring in the video feed. We then tried to access the camera directly (Network Cable from PC to Camera) --> same result.
Does anyone know if those cameras have a setting (which we could'nt detect) that has to be activated to make this workflow possible?
Thanks ,
Marc
by the way, we than brought the camera in via a 2nd hdmi dongle but couldn't use the preset function as we wanted to, but the result was still satisfying.
