Hello, mates,

I'm facing this problem I set everything correctly to stream 720p to Facebook, but the quality is downscaled to 640 for no reason. You can watch the videos on facebook.com/JornalExtra. I would like some guidance to check if I did any mistake on the setting, but I'm almost 100% sure everything is alright.

Does it seem familiar to anyone?

Thank you

I think we already have a thread regarding this problem: http://www.forums.vmix.com/defa...aspx?g=posts&m=27121

I see, but no one came up with a solution.

Yes, that's right, but your question was if anyone else is familiar with this problem^^

I think the problem is Facebook, the want to save bandwith and transcode the stream to something with lower bitrate and lower resolution. Facebook is not (yet) the right place for high quality live streaming.

I understand it's not the best place for livestreaming, but it's possible. Other companiews do it. Isn't vMix capable of delivering Facebook Live HD? My company paid for it.

Vmix is capable of delivering HD, but I don't know how to stream on Facebook Live in HD. I have you tried using another encoder?

FMLE? FFMpeg?

Have tried another application like Open Broadcaster Software to see if it's possible to stream in HD on Facebook Live?

It's a Facebook platform related problem. It doesn't matter what encoder sw used.
