MJPEG over HTTP - any solution out there?

I currently have several self built cameras that will stream in MJPEG over HTTP with almost no delay at all.
Theyre loaded into vMix as "Web Browser" however they will freeze at random intervals. A quick "Reload" on the Browser input brings them back up - but the api (for shortcuts etc) does not have a "Browser Reload" function built in.
I want to find a way of bringing the feeds in natively (using rstp or similar) to avoid any of the freezes.
Anyone have any good ideas to try?
