Hi everyone,
Joystick-support for PTZ-Cameras is really great. But the joysticks are only implemented with x-y-axis. So it's not possible to zoom in or out by rotating the stick. This would make it much easier and convenient to control PTZ Cameras just like with any other "traditional" RS485-Joystick

Best regards,
Yannick

+1

We already wrote to Martin directly because we are facing the same "problem". At the moment we are playing around with some USB-controllers for PTZ-control. We used some gaming joysticks to get familiar with it and since last week we are testing this one here:

http://www.ngsystems.co.uk/X-Assist-X3200-USB-CCTV-Joystick.html

Looks all very promising but without zooming in and out by turning the joystick knob it is hard to use. Please add control support for all 3 axis.

There are so many great controllers for USB in the market with "professional look and feel". It would be great to use them for our sports customers.

Regards
Karsten
