What is the best codec for recording when using the Decklink Quad HDSDI card?
I only / mainly record 1080i or p.
I found that the codecs that come with the card are not working well with vMix: the Media Express software can use it without issues, but via vMix I see a lot of dropped frames/un-useable with all codecs except the Decklink MJPEG compressor and the Cineform codec.
According to the speed disk check from BMD my disks go up to 156 Mb and 185 Mb and are good for all codecs except the 4.4.4 10 bit.
