Hi, I have an Akai apc 40 midi controller.

The controller has 127 positions on the optical encoders BUT when I program a shortcut, only takes "one" value.

The only way I´ve found to make a zoom from "0 to 5" in vmix and "0 to 127" on the controller is
adding 127 midi positions... with little increments to cover the full range!!!

There`s any other way to make it?

Thanks

Tom Sinclair did a video about using a Korg midi device to control the T-Bar.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0palug7MKY

Perhaps you can adapt what he did to your situation with zoom by using Find to choose one of the faders or knobs on your Akai.

Yes the T-Bar works very well! in "fader"... Vmix Automatically takes de 0 to 127 digital encoder positions.

But "Input ZOOM" doesn´t have the same options like "fader"...

It will be great that works with: Position, crop, colors correction... etc

I think that is a ugly limitation in Vmix.

Last night I typed 128 position for working "one camera" zoom... (3 hours of typing)....

Thanks

Fabian

It could be a useful feature, so why not submit it in the Feature Requests.

I am not sure I understand your request, but if it's at all useful I am using a Korg nanoKontrol2 and have sliders set to control zoom on inputs.
I have 5 of the sliders using SetZoom, each pointing to a specific input number.
One of the sliders uses SetZoom but uses Active (whatever is in the output window)

This lets the sliders control the input or output zoom, and interestingly, when the slider is in the 0 (full down) position, it resets the zoom level for that input.

what do you mean about "uses active".

If I configure the setfader for a T-Bar, works perfect, but in zoom, crop, position, not works...
only jumps from 0 to maximun (without middle positions)

When I said "uses active" I meant that I selected Active for the input when configuring the shortcut. So rather than affecting a specific input, it affects whatever input is currently in the output window.

I don't know if it makes a difference in your case, but I created my midi shortcuts, I let VMix "find" my midi sliders. I had it set to the middle slide position then just moved it slightly to let vmix find it.

I too have an APC 40 and I dont have that issue... I have my knobs in device control section set up to control my pan, zoom, crop all without issue.
