Quick Graphics Card / Ram question

I have a quick question and hopefully someone can give me an answer. I still use VMix 16 only because I have issues with the new Desktop Capture. I am starting to have issues rendering live only because I have a lot of motion graphics going. For Vmix 16 do those run on the video card or ram? I am about to take my pc over to get upgraded real quick and I am not sure which I need to do. If you could just let me know please. Thanks- William Long time vmix user!

The way I understand it, the GPU renders all the frames that are output.

Put your bucks into a Nvidia graphics card 950 or 750 or better with 1GB of RAM or more.

I had a 750 with 1gb. It wasn't enough. I just got a 760 with 3GB and its super cooled. So I am literally just the new card. I only have 8GB of RAM on the computer as well. So I am not sure if that could also be a problem?
