We'll be battling the cold weather and bringing you another vMix Fun Time Live Show on July 25th 8pm Eastern (US). It's a great opportunity to ask any questions and join in on the live chat. We'll be discussing the recent changes to vMix and some other things. Maybe another giveaway? Maybe something else? Maybe there is something in the image?

vMix.com/live to check it out or watch us on our YouTube channel later on.

When's it on in your Timezone- Click to find out.

A shame it's so late again, forgetting about the europeans are we? :P

Never the less, I'm sure the show will be rock solid, nay, diamond solid ;)

I hope I'll be able to join

We're not forgetting about Europe. Logistically it's just a little bit easier to fit in a show for US times at the moment. Well and the fact that we're travelling for 30 hours to come to Europe in less than 2 months! We'll shoot for a Fun Time Live Show from Europe in September hopefully. It might have to be from a hotel or McDonalds to use some Wi-Fi!

I can arrange a 4G box locally for you if you want. I bet the RAI asks pure gold for bandwidth.

Midway throught the full fun time show, they're telling the model names of all their equipment and how it is wired up, so take a look at the full show :-)

We show our live show equipment on each video-
?t=4m18s

It's a Panasonic AW HE40s for the main shot.

Hi Martin,

For the new vMix Activators feature, I have 3 lofty feature requests for that... Hopefully these can get included.

First off, I feel that things could begin to get very confusing with Triggers vs. Activators... guess there should be more discussion to how to deal with these two or whatnot. I kind of feel that this automation stuff is like opening Pandora's box.

1. Allow an activator to call a block of code, a la vMix Scripting, in addition to a MIDI note which you demonstrated.
1a. If a code block is used, provide a reference to the calling object (a la e.Data in C#) so the script could know who triggered it.

2. An interface option within the Input, Input Audio, Overlay, Audio Mixer, etc.. property windows (the window that appears when clicking the gear/cog) could have a tab for activators also listed there, with any applicable events available for someone to modify, so in a hurry one doesn't need to look through the list of activators in the Settings window.

3. Generic activators?: For the events dealing with Inputs, the option to not select a specific input but to have an activator trigger for InputPlaying, InputPreview, etc... for any input would be cool. Maybe even a condition filter for audio inputs / video inputs / NDI inputs / stream inputs / idk... I'm getting ridiculous at this point.

Also, what is "default" in the event list? It's right below "None" in your YouTube video.

Thanks!
