Please allow all Inputs (including Webcams) to be output via NDI.
Also, it would be nice to have a toggle in each Input's Configure/General Tab to enable/disable availability via NDI - those with many Inputs wouldn't get all of those in NDI discovery unless they wanted.

I see some real use in this.
With this new feature, not only can all my cameras and audio devices be available to my main production PC via NDI, but now all photos, videos, audio files, pp presentations, DVD's, etc can be available resources, too. Not just through the External Output, but each individual input.
Yes, they should be grouped so CPU and network usage doesn't go through the roof. Maybe they don't need to be grouped at all. Just allow each type of input to be made available through Settings -> NDI Outputs.
So vMix Basic HD will be able to provide access to four remote inputs of any variety, all at the same time. And I'm sure once people discover the power of this feature, they will want not just four inputs (vMix Basic HD), but more (vMix HD).

For me it can be just check box in every input settings to enable NDI output of that input. In especially for virtual inputs.

+1 This need was discussed when v17 was release, beginning with post 47. At that time Admin wrote Quote:vMix will add NDI streams for any cameras or audio devices added. It won't add ordinary inputs as this puts significant strain on the GPU, for that case you can use the vMix output or use External 2 which is in the 4K and Pro editions. But maybe the advent of even more powerful graphics cards (eg GTX 1060 and onward), one might hope for an opening :)

Converting static files that can be shared over the network (like images, powerpoints, videos, etc...) into NDI streams from vMix is a rational and technical non-sense !
You still need your photos on another PC? Share your folder and map it !
You want your webcam as a NDI source? Connect it to PC2 and use NDIConnect or VLC: you can get the NDI stream into vMix and all other PCs.
You want Powerpoint into vMix and other PCs? Open PPT on PC2 and use NDI ScanConverter: you can get the NDI stream into vMix and all other PCs.
But remember, a regular gigabit network won't support more than 8/9 FullHD NDI streams due to bandwidth limitations.

Well, that sounds to me like a harsh comment. A can imagine quite a few rational reasons to be able to send forward an Image input over NDI (which I guess won't need that much bandwith).

Yes Richard me too. That's why I indicated an alternative way to do it which is imho more rational in 2 ways :
- you can already do it (for free) - vMix is a wonderful video switcher, not a swiss-army knife
My examples clearly show that the same need can be solved in many ways. Sometimes it's worth to reconsider your workflow, especially with NDI where every source is also a destination and vice-versa...
Besides, NDI being compulsarily a Network multi Devices protocol, it's always more efficient to spread your load over several machines than to ask a single one to do everything.
Also NDI is only usable by powerful machines (i5 or i7 with powerful graphic cards) so you can't tell me that the client host is not powerful enough to become a source host.
