Would like to vMix 17 and newer to have:

-The option to blink tally lights and define the blinking interval. This blinking behaviour would better draw talent's attention if talent read from a teleprompter etc.

-Support for On Air -signal when Record to file, Streaming or External is active. This should be freely configurable so some or all of these would trigger On Air -signal.

Yes, this can currently be simulated for an example by putting on an overlay with Tally Light enabled and keep the overlay layer (signal) active until end of the show, but it would be very nice to have a real On Air tally mechanism built in to vMix.

Jan, gr8 idea. Seems similar to the request for Recording, Streaming, and External as Tally pins

But blinking tally light, not sure about that. Better to train the talent.

Hi richardgatarski. Yes, On Air signal has been asked by other users too during the years.

Yes, but wouldn't hurt to have the choice.

Kind regards,

And would really want analog pin support for Arduino Tally Lights.

Now vMix 17..103 gives this error "Pin is not a number" if for an example A1 is given.

Kind regards,
Jan

"Pin mapping

The analog pins can be used identically to the digital pins, using the aliases A0 (for analog input 0), A1, etc. For example, the code would look like this to set analog pin 0 to an output, and to set it HIGH:

pinMode(A0, OUTPUT);
digitalWrite(A0, HIGH); "
