The web browser input does not support flash unfortunately.

I did ask Martin about supporting this and this was his answer:

There are no plans to add flash support to the browser input at this time for technical reasons.

Youtube should work on the web browser input though, maybe not the livestreams, but a vod should play using html5.

There was a HTML5 playback bug in older releases so try updating to 17.0.0.92

As for sites that only work with Flash, then I would encourage users to contact them to see about their HTML5 support.
All the major sites such as YouTube and Vimeo support HTML5 and most should be looking to upgrade in the near future as browsers begin to remove flash support later on this year.

@ bunayya01

If playing YouTube videos is your main issue, have a look at the 'tutorial' in this thread about the "Browser" input and Fullscreen YouTube videos in vMix:

Not sure if that's what you wanted to accomplish or not but thought it might be relevant.

For live streams on desktop, flash is not obsolete yet. I would really like the choice to have it in there by adding it manually on users own responsibility.

I have tested YouTube Live and it works fine in vMix with the latest update 17.0.0.92
Please send a screenshot if you are seeing something different?

@ bunayya01

I cannot replicate this issue either (vMix 17.0.0.97) so I suspect that it is not a vMix issue if you are up-to-date but possibly a conflict within your system and/or browser set-up.
Have you tried re-installing the Flash player?
