I never received an answer on this so I re posted in the forums..

I have several quick questions in regards to Lower Thirds and animated Lower Thirds...

1) What version of Visual Studio Blend does vMix support?? (2010, 2013, 2015)???

2) and are all the features/functions supported or only certain ones??? and if only certain ones are available, would it be possible to have them added in the Help section.

Tried doing animated lower thirds in Visual Studio 2015 only to have errors reported by vMix that certain functions are not supported...

Only reason I was asking is because a lot of users want to know how to do animated lower thirds and some requested tutorials on how to accomplish the animations.

Was thinking of doing some tutorials on Animated Lower Thirds to help other users.
And it would help me as I am developing some Scoreboard Lower Thirds and Controller software for various sports for vMix....

Thanks

@ desmar

My guess is that the earlier versions of Blend will issue better results.
(based on vMix's early adoption of XAML graphics)
I cannot make heads nor tails out of what Microsoft has done with Visual Studio in recent years and making Blend a component of it or how to even use it properly.
(I come from an Adobe workflow and just cant get my head around Visual Studio)
Certainly any kind of tutorial or training would be most welcome because from what I can see they are virtually non-existent or at least not applicable to "animated TV graphics" for vMix users.

Animated graphics are actually not that hard to do in Visual Studio Blend.
Lot's of videos on Youtube showing how to do it.

Big issue I am having is when I do an animation in Blend 2015, and import the xaml code in vMix.
I get errors indicating that certain features are not supported by vMix.

Just need some sort of clarification of which version is being used in vMix and if all
the functions are used or just some of the functions are used...

Perhaps I stand corrected...
It's been over a year since I've looked into "Blend"
And from what I remember, there was very little in terms of tutorials on YouTube and I had a heck of a time navigating through the Visual Studio Website.
Looks like that has changed significantly and I'll definitely be exploring things a bit more.

I would recommend 2013 as 2015 does not have Photoshop and Illustrator import tool.
