Hi everyone

I have recently upgraded to VMix 17 and I am having trouble with my Focusrite 18i20 interface. I have the most current driver installed and it is working with the PC however when I go to add an audio input into VMix it says - "Could not start ASIO Device Focusrite USB 2.0 Audio Driver, BASS_ERROR_UNKNOWN."

I have had the Focusrite working with VMix before and I was hoping you could help me. I have a gig coming up on the weekend and I was hoping someone might have a solution for this?

Thanks heaps!

Whenever I see that error it is usually because Windows has taken control of the device. Go to the volume settings and right click. Make sure the Scarlet is not being used for the line in or line out device. I always keep these options "disabled" unless I need them, which is very rarely.

That was exactly it! Thank you SO MUCH... such a simple thing. It's handy knowing little tricks like that incase they happen on a gig.

I appreciate your fast response.

Cheers
