Just some problem I ran into, not serious, but it keeps me wondering.
I specialize in recording presentations of meetings. had one yesterday 17+ presentations, tomorrow next meeting, etc etc. I capture the powerpoint through the desktop capture, but when there is a lot of pointing and explaining I record the powerpoint screen directly on camera so I can record the pointer on the screen.
the camera i use has a minimum shuttertime of 1/50 th. So I record some banding and motion in the picture. Actually there is not much motion but Vmix will see it as motion, so when recording mp4 the cpu usage goes up quite a bit. Not a problem but with normal inputs i run at 50% cpu but with the screen capture video this goes up to over 80 or 90%... Just remember I record for some 3-4 hour sessions, 6-8h in a day. have to keep the cpu happy and cool.
Anybody have an idea how to blur the image so the banding is eliminated. normally I would set the shuttertime below 1/50th but I can not with the camera used here ( panasonic 920 - I have 4 of these as b cam) but can I use a vmix trick to have the same slow shutter effect?
cheers, Stefan

@ h2video.nl
Stephan, is there any possibility of recording to an external recorder or in another format (to another external drive if necessary)? MP4 compression is nice but can use up significant CPU resources.
