I am pretty sure I heard NDI say that the protocol supports reduced bandwidth when the source is not in full use at the reciever (eg in vMix's case only shown in the Input's preview). And I think that I noticed that the recent update of the SDK had implemented this.

But now I tested with vMix 17.85, and it seems to be same bandwidth for every NDI source added in vMix, used or not.

Have I misunderstod this? If not, is this something that might be supported in vMix too?
