We cannot hear the built-in audio through the HDMI input capture. I can see the video perfectly coming through, but I cannot get the audio to come through.

It was working great and then it just randomly stopped. And this was before I updated the software to the latest one - even since updating, still not able to get it working again.

I have tried:
Restarting the computer
Changing cameras
Running audio through different capture source
Updating vMix software
Re-adding inputs

The only audio I can hear are from the short video files I've added. But nothing from my video capture sources.

Please help! vMix has made my life so much easier...

Hi,

Could you let me know what HDMI capture card you are using and what settings are selected in the Add Input -> Capture window?

Thanks,

Martin

We are using the AverMedia capture cards running HDMI into them. However, we made a mistake and opened the 32-bit version of the software. When we realized this and opened the 64-bit version, everything seemed to work like it was suppose to.

Interesting that would be the case... but our problem seems to have been fixed. Thanks for following up!
