I plan to import sd videos into vMix and export for viewing on laptops. Delivery will be on flash drives in order to take a DVD recorder out of the loop.
What video format would be most acceptable for video viewing?
Thanks in advance!

So, why would you want to do that, when all you need is a simple video editor...there a few good free ones out there.....vMix is a live switching software version of a hardware switcher, not an editor.... ......and if you want to burn DVDs from those video clips, then the editing software should be able to do that, or export to TS files, and use a free program I use, "Image Burn", to burn your DVD....
hope I helped you

I have additional plans for vMix! vMix seems to do lots of things exceedingly well. Actually, I am trying to get away from DVDs by going to 3.0 Flash Drives. Greater capacity and fast. My only question at this point is the most usable format for SD video with good quality. Recording onto a DVD is slow. Especially if you have files greater than 4.7GB and have to span a video to multiple discs.
I am not an "exspurt" but I am trying to learn!
Thanks, JoJo

I think that is overkill for my application but thanks for the suggestion!
