Hi,

I just noticed today that when using an external monitor with vMix to show the output on it messes up some titles. For example, when using the TickerHD title and pressing the fullscreen button in vMix the ticker just keeps flashing all the time. TickerHD3 did not do this, but when disabling the fullscreen it was ok again. Any idea why this happens? Basically I could not use the Ticker HD title with the output shown on the external monitor.

long shot, try changing Settings/Performance: Enable FlipEx (for both Preview and Fullscreen)and see what happens.
(if you use v17 you might need to check box Show advanced settings on the performance tab)

Tried this earlier but never changed anything. Noticed I got some problems with instant replays also where the fade effect when changing clips looks like this (it's more like flashing than fading, so I must use the cut effect instead, which doesn't look as smooth):


This also seems to have nothing to do with using an external monitor, as I had the same problems with the instant replay when not using one in this match. Hopefully someone has any idea why these problems are happening.

Hi,

First make sure the latest vMix is installed 17.0.0.85
You may also need to download the latest nvidia graphics drivers and also the latest intel graphics drivers.

Then when running vMix right click the icon and select Run with graphics processor -> High performance NVIDIA graphics

The flashing you are seeing is due to a bug in older graphics drivers, so making sure all of the above is up to date should solve it.

Yeah this is with the latest version of vMix, but I'll try upgrading the graphics drivers and see if it helps. Thanks!

Just trying this out, I get the flashing with the title when using the output on an external monitor as fullscreen in vMix. But if I disable the fullscreen the title is not flashing. However, with the instant replay I still get the flashes when fading between clips no matter if I use the external monitor or not.
