Hello

When I select the program 'vMix' in my Nvidia GeForce drivers to use the GeForce 840M graphics card, vMix just won't start up and gives the following error:

“Attempted to read or write protected memory. This often indicates that other memory is corrupt.”

D3DStartup

I have a Lenovo Z710 notebook with Windows 10 and I tried reinstalling all drivers, including DirectX 12.

I also thought there was a fault with Direct3D/DirectX, but I have the latest version and Direct3D is enabled.

Everythink works perfect with my Intel HD4000 graphics card, but I want to use the Nvidia graphics card...

Also important to note: the GeForce 840M works perfectly in Lightroom (photo editing software) and Sony Vegas Pro (video editing software).

UPDATE: I just installed the vMix 17 preview, now it starts up but all I get is this:

Try this:

- Go to Settings
- Displaty
- Output size is probably set to 1920x1080, change this is for example 1280x720.

Exit vMix and restart is by telling it to use your 840M-card.

Don't no exactly why, but this works for me (Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M).
