RTSP monitoring/automatic restart after connection lost

Hello- I run a dozen or so 24/7 live cams using Axis security cameras. I use vMix to initiate the RTSP feeds from the cameras, which I can then composite, stream, and record locally using all of the robust tools within vMix. However, even over TCP, the RTSP handling in vMix seems very sensitive to network fluctuations and when a connection lags, the RTSP stream drops from the broadcast until I log in and re-add the RTSP feed as an input.
MY REQUEST: Given that vMix recognizes when an RTSP feed is lost (flashing the error message on the input), it would be great if there was a checkbox or something that would allow me to tell vMix to automatically reload the RTSP feed after some period of time (5s?). I've had to revert to using FMLE (and the Axis Streaming Assistant, which makes the cam's RTSP feeds show up as camera inputs in FMLE) as a standalone encoder for many of the feeds because it seems to handle the fluctuations more robustly.
Thanks!
