Hi Guys,

I am already a VMIx customer.

I am looking at buying the following and would really appreciate your feedback on how well Vmix will run on it please. I will be running it in bootcamp.

MacBook Pro
2.9GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM — 2x4GB
1TB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm

Inputs
2 x Pro cameras inputted via external Magewell products via USB 3.
External picture output via Thunderbolt through a BlackMagic Ultra Studio Mini monitor to a VidIu for TX.

Do you think the internal HD will be OK for recording the live feed or would I need to replace it for an SSD?

Do you think Vmix could cope with the two cameras in full HD and VT's etc?

I'd definitely be looking for an SSD. The performance gap between the 5400 rpm HD and the rest of what you have is very significant.

Good Luck
