In the February edition of the vMix Fun Time Live show we'll be talking about vMix 17, Valentines Day and vMix Gold.
To watch, head to vmix.com/liveshow
NDI NDI NDI! It seems as though people have shown a slight interest in the Newtek NDI protocol! So we'll be covering some more NDI related stuff in vMix 17.
If you've entered the vMix GOLD competition, you'll already know that there will be a LIVE drawing of the recipient on the show. You DO NOT need to be watching the show to win or anything, we'll be emailing the recipient once the show is over.
Yes, we'll be running this show on the vMix 17 Beta, so get your screenshots ready to analyse any new features you see! Hopefully we won't find any bugs but chances are there may be a couple as we'll be rolling out some new features in the days before the show!
The show will be US friendly this month. Monday 15th February at 8pm Eastern. Click here to see when it will be on in your time zone.
As usual, there will be a Question and Answer time at the end of the show. So be prepared.
The video will be up on Youtube later that night for those that don't want to watch it live.

Looks like this show is becoming fuller by the second! We'll be doing a short review of the Numark Orbit MIDI device, covering a new implementation of the Newtek NDI protocol for vMix 17 and discussing PTZ! Oh and some other small thing know as... vMix GOLD!!The vMix Gold machine is ready and operational!
So get your questions ready as this is going to be full of exciting vMix news!

Numark Orbit review, very cool. The Qrbit does so much, once we start production we don't touch the keyboard hardly at all.

Looks like another great show guys, too bad there were problems with the stream, I'll have to catch the full show 'On Demand' once it's available... Caught the show on my iPhone and there were many freezes and resumes happening throughout, and of course no way to sign in on the iPhone.

I second desmar. There's a limit to how long I can keep crossing my fingers.
But ehm, it's my birthday tomorrow, so I think a vMix Gold license would be a perfect birthday present ;-)

The winner of VMix Gold was number 45. Stream had some issues yesterday and using vmix 17 alpha beta ;) so stream/recording stop for a minute. A few bugs Martin is working on. Should be up later today. I think they needed to join the file where it stopped recording as well. The stream provider did not seem very good either as was buffing a lot for people.

So...
Yesterday's stream was quite eventful! We had a few issues with the show for various reasons. We were using a super extreme mega beta of vMix17 and we managed to crash it toward the end. We like to live on the edge and unfortunately we fell over it! People do request Betas of the software, but as you can see we'd prefer to have most of the bugs worked out before releasing it. Better us to break it than you! We did also have issues with the streaming provider so for those tuning in live, we apologise. We'll be reassessing our streaming policy for the next show!
Here is the show in it's Beta glory-
Please keep in mind it's pretty rough! But it will show you the NDI desktop capture in full flight, PTZ Control and some Q and A. Thanks for watching and bearing with us! We look forward to the next show which will be bug free with no streaming issues!

Love to see more clips of NDI and PTZ in the future. - Tom
