I've been using VoiceMeeter Banana as a software audio mixer since it's release in 2014. It's a very capable, free software product. In my particular case I use it to create the multiple mix-minus feeds necessary to tie a Hangout to an audio conference bridge, and my own location. In recent months Vincent Burel has created a protocol ( VBAN) for sending audio streams over the LAN between multiple instances VoiceMeeter Banana. He's also written a client app to act as a receiver. I think that it would be very handy to have VBAN client capability built into vMix.

Dante would be great, but may be a bit more complex. VBAN is quite simple. Further, there's zero hard cost to its use. No licensing, etc.
I wonder how both of these things relate to NDI?
