Awesome job g-mo! I caught some of the action 'Live' on Friday night, I think your camera positioning was good, the action was easy to follow although there is so much continuous racing I'm impressed that you were able to keep it straight. I thought the 'Instant Replay' worked well when used but thought perhaps a separate 'color' commentator providing analysis of "crashes" and replays might provide a better viewing experience. The winner's circle was cool too during breaks, although with so much going on it was hard to know which Race winner was having their picture taken.
Thanks for sharing your set-up details, would love to learn more about the successes and challenges.

I wanted to try to finish the event with a montage that was actually edited instead of a roll from the instant replay function. It ended up working great. I ran a switch between my editing machine (mac) and my vmix machine. My editor grabbed clips as they were recorded and we ended up with a kick ass clip that played just a few minutes after the last race of the night. People were stoked on it.
