Hi there,

tested one of the PTZOptics cameras, the SDI model and NOT the USB version.
Now I was looking for getting the video into vMix via IP, rtsp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx of the camera works fine in VLC, but vMix refuses with "500 Internal Server error" (no matter if setup TCP or UDP).

Another option would be RTMP as this is possible from the webinterface of the PTZOptics, but that won´t work, neither in VLC or vMix.
You could also setup the PTZOptics camera to multicast on a regular multicast adress, it works in VLC with rtp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:port - but not in vMix as it only accepts RTSP.

Any ideas on that as I think it would make sense to have the ability to move to full IP integration for that type of cameras.

Cheers

Jens
