Hi,
We have a few different laptops, and for some of these vMix's Settings/Performance Graphics Display option only offers Intel graphics. I could swear it have worked at some time, but not now. Does anyone have similar problems, or better - solutions?
Yes, I have in NVIDIA Manage 3D settings that it's high performance card should be used for vMix Yes, I have set things for high power in Windows' power options Yes, I have installed the latest Nvidia drivers No, I have not disabled built graphics in the Bios (not possible to do)
Thanks.
Edit: use Win 8.1 and vMix v16

Hi Richard, I've made same setting on two laptop Asus I7 with nVidia 2GB and one I5 with nVidia 1GB. The only mode that I have find is rigth mouse click on vmix icon, on the dropdown menu "run with gpu ->". vMix recognize nVidia as default GPU engine but the performance is very bad!!! more CPU usage and more FPS latency. I don't know why but the basic Intel HD GPU give tree time performance that nVidia 8-((
If you made more beatiful test, please tell me more.
Regards giulliu

giulliu, your problem seems very strange. On my laptops where I manage to get the nVidia card to be used vMix performance is very much better.
Side note: other apps (eg Sony Vegas) recognize and use the nVidia card)
In my case it does not help with right-click (which is the same as setting nVidia to be used for vMix).
