Hello,

An event live streamed to Macau & others around the world with a Macau function room at the Jockey Club joining in via Skype.

Yes we need better lighting :) Always something to improve.

Examples:
?t=5h22m

Another:
?t=8h5m52s

Delay to Gold Coast --> Macau was 0.7s from our Gold Coast Cameras to their video. Return delay with low quality video from skype was about <1 second.

Vmix was doing all the Mixing. About 8 Cameras connections (most not used all the time). 17 inputs total.

We stream using linux servers we configure ourselves (a little picky about our VPS providers and their capacity) and Youtube Live basically so we have an Archive/DVR function on the footage (without adding stress to our own servers) and maybe get a few extra viewers who prefer the Youtube platform.

All up we distributed about 1.6TB of data over 8 hours.

Macau had plenty of screens watching our sale, the person in the headphones is a bid spotter.

This is the second time we have had Macau Bidding live into our auction and the big Macau in green indicates they have the bid which they found very useful. Many more complex IT things happen, but won't go into those :)

Enjoy!

Some details from the other side of the transmission. They got the end results, they were not using Vmix at their end.

It was mostly Vmix powered, Vmix was certainly doing all the titling and mixing.

Thanks for posting, it's good to see what other people do with vMix.
